Eh La

In search of the temporality of falling.

About the production

"Eh La" is a physical research on the experience of falling. Using the technique of hand-to-hand acrobatics, Tim Behren and Florian Patschovsky investigate the sensory perceptions of the body in movement through different levels. However, the body does not fall alone – as it moves through positions that are new to it, the consciousness also experiences new things. From top to bottom, from upright to archaic and brutal: our minds fall through different levels between the conscious, upright world and the unconscious depths of ourselves. "Eh La" captivates through the unconditional complicity of its actors, who excavate this action causal to their technique and thus unearth a story, a human experience.
